Permit required for Indians in some places in India

 Very few of you might know that there are some places in India where you have to take an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to visit. These are sensitive places near India’s international border. These places require permits so that the movement of people in these areas can be controlled.
The ILP is an official travel document issued by the concerned state government. It allows Indian citizens to travel to any protected area within the country for a certain time. Let us know in which places it is applicable.
Our Mizoram is in the North Eastern States, which is home to various indigenous tribes along the borders with Myanmar and Bangladesh. Whenever you come here, you need an Inner Line Permit, which can be obtained from the Liaison Officer of the Mizoram Government and online. Whereas in Nagaland, and Arunachal Pradesh, it is also necessary to obtain an inner line permit.
