Drunk man killed his wife, every fourth alcoholic in India is violent

 A man in Bengaluru killed his wife on the night of April 6, 2024, and then slept with the body.According to Kamakshipalya police, on the night of April 6, Netravati (32) in Ranganathapura quarreled with her husband Venkatesh over his drinking habit and in anger strangulated her to death with a sari.

The next day of the incident, on Sunday, at around 7 am, their nine-year-old son kept calling his mother and tried to wake her up and when she was not responding, he started crying loudly. After that, the nearby neighbors reached the house and found Netravati dead.The neighbors informed the police about the incident and Venkatesh was arrested. Further investigation is underway.

 In India, every fourth person who drinks alcohol gets into a fight. This is mentioned in an article published in India Today.
